I am happy to announce that the Shadow Gangs demo is now available here, and in the downloads section. ( a for Jump, s for Fire).
It's the PC version, it should run fine on a 1ghz PC with Intel graphics, but let me know if you have any issues running it.
You may need to install Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable here if the Demo won't start, I didn't need to but just in case.
A new great music track is also available, here or in the downloads section. It's included in the demo and can be heard if you finish the demo.
The kickstarter date is now set, it's the 25th of June 2016. If you liked the demo and want this game to materialise, please contribute to the crowdfunding.
These kind of games like Shadow Gangs won't be brought back by big game companies, or the likes of Sega, Capcom etc...., they all seem to have moved to 3D and other new fancy gameplay styles etc..., so don't wait for them to release something like Shadow Gangs.
Feedback on the game all over the internet, and friends has been very important, and this new demo is showing that.
Apart from the new backgrounds, many enhancements and fixes have gone in.
In the coming days, I will update you with the plans for Shadow Gangs Kickstarter, what are the levels, the gameplay additions, the enemies etc...in big detail.

Finally I am proud to present the new Shadow Gangs, with new backgrounds now sporting 6 parallax layers that add a lot to the game atmosphere and quality (pictures above and bellow), and many more fixes and enhancement that pictures can't convey, but a Demo will!
I am excited to announce that the Shadow Gangs demo, and the new and final pre Kickstarter video will be both available at the same time at the end of next week, Saturday or Sunday, most probably Sunday 22nd of May.
I will also now aside from preparing the demo, prepare for the kickstarter campaign. To this end, I am going to dress up in big detail what Shadow Gangs is about, what enemies are there, what levels, what new weapons can Dan and his ninja form use, how they can use it, and what the ninja form add to Dan capability wise.
I give you a rendez-vous at the end of next, week the demo will be available then for download (pc version), and a new video and final video will be uploaded, and will also announce the kickstarter date!

I'd like to give a new Shadow Gangs update:
I have been fixing the engine and tweaking the gameplay more.
The remarks raised about the camera has been fixed.
But the important thing is the backgrounds, I am working with an incredible background artist and I can say that now the new backgrounds are mostly ready!
There will still be some minor fixes to them, but for the most part they are ready, and the new Shadow Gangs demo level will sport 5 layers of parallax scrolls! (compared to 1 in the original demo video).
It's not just the added number layers of scrolls that are an improvement compared to the original, it's the backgrounds themselves that are great looking.
Prepare to be surprised, the Shadow Gangs you have seen before has been completely changed for the better!.
I have also put a deadline on our musician, this will mean that he need to deliver a new music track before the end of this month.
Other improvement are the addition of two new hostages, females this time :)
Other big changes and additions will come too, but they will be after the kickstarter as they need big investment from me code side. I don't want to jump on them until the kickstarter is sorted if ever. (I will need motivation for that, both $ (to pay team members), and the knowledge that there are people out there that like this game and are looking for this game to complete). I will talk about this more nearer the time.
Before the kickstarter, I will dress what Shdaow Gangs will have, what improvement and additions there will be, what levels there are, and more in bigger detail.
