I was working on boss Collin fight, balancing, fixing issues, tweaking etc...
Some of the changes that came out from this boss fight gameplay tuning:
- Button sequences a la street fighter 2 are gone. They will not be used in Shadow Gangs. I added them to allow for fewer action buttons, but the drawbacks of the SF2 sequences are bigger than the benefits.
Now special weapons have their own button. It allow for fast and mistake less triggering.
- In the boss fight, you can use all the special weapons you collected in the previous levels.
- You can use also all the magic powers too.
- Boss fights now have the boss pow bar on top. (like final fight one).
- Grenade special weapon is gone, not great to use, and slow.
With these fixes in, they will help with the upcoming boss fights implementations.
I will then start implementing the forest level, starting this weekend.
